love to read

My princess loves to read and she often flips her Bible Story Book as if she is truly reading... maybe this is what she gets from me, the love for reading :) As per advise by one of our aunt, one good bonding moment of a mother and daughter is reading, so as much as possible, aside from playing with her shapes sorting box, I read to her. Sometimes she would listen, sometimes she won't, given kids a short attention span, a good three to five minutes without distraction is a milestone, I tell you! Also, whenever I read a magazine or a newspaper, even if it makes me look like so stupidly insane I read the articles aloud so she can hear me reading. At times, I don't care anymore of what the story is about, be it about the celebrities or vacation spots or those nursing books that my cousin has or those collection of my fitness and diet books . I can't remember anymore the lists of the books that I was able to read her actually, as long as she enjoys the attention and the books flipping we get along well.

Anyways, I heard that www.borders.co.uk are having great holiday sales and that makes me think of snagging a few children books for my brat! :D
