It's April! how time flies isn't?! soon, my dear husband will arrive after a year of working in KSA! and with that, our most awaited family vacation will also be happening! But no, can't really tell now where we are going, not yet :D It's a surprise, though my closest friends knows it already :D But see, those who seems to always sneak and peak to what we are up to might know and they might get jealous or something, so not letting them know is the best thing for now... don't wanna see them get so eat up with jealousy, they might kill themselves! bwahahahaha! kidding :D
Anyways, speaking of our upcoming family trip.. I'm also thinking of getting a toddler stroller for us to bring, since we are expecting a whole lot of walking and stuff... Actually looking at this super light weight uppababy vista, which is so compact and stylish.. we'll see.. hopefully this will do good!

out of town?

We first here the story behind the beautiful getaway destination through my dad who already had an experience vacationing on different islands and vacation spots, he says that there are so many awesome resorts to choose from once you are there, and only enjoyment and relaxation is what you will feel there. Anyways, we are thinking of grabbing one of those packages a certain beach can offer, since we didn't have an offical honeymoon after our wedding three years ago, I guess that this is the time to experience that, even just for a while. So there, I search and look for hot spots that we might consider, and most of the resorts are tagged with ! meaning, most of them are offering honeymoon vacation , I think. And although I love weddings, I might pass on the idea of having to stay with so many guests roaming around, what I would want to have is a peaceful beach experience wherein we can do whatever we want, with only a few people surrounding us. Our fourth year anniversary is just months away, the husband and I still doesn't have a plan yet on how we will celebrate this special day. Now that we are proud parents, we would want to experience this special milestone with our precious daughter, a day or two somewhere new would definitely be nice for us for the three of us. A stay in a nice and fancy beach is one of the things we are taking into consideration, that is why, I'ved been inquiring travel agencies about their Adults Only Resort they can offer for us, now that the season is known to be peak, and those resorts are getting jammed with guests, getting one is near to impossible since a lot of people are already booked. Anyways, I received an email with reasonably priced all inclusive package from one of the travel agencies I called in a few days ago, but the thing is, we plan to bring the terrible toddler with us right? So I guess the idea of getting a honeymoon package is crossed out. I just hope we can still get one if this idea push through, we will see

Another wish list

One of my Christmas wish list is to have long beach vacation with the husband and daughter. The husband and I were talking about the other night about our future plans for a vacation getaway, not that we already have the budget for it, but just the fact of planning makes us more excited. dream vacay

Summer is still here and will soon be biding good bye, but we haven't yet to enjoy a great vacation time it has to offer. If only money is not a problem, probably we are one of the many who will greatly enjoy some Outer Banks vacation rental available for tourists in the great beaches and resorts in different parts of the country. The husband and I usually talks about having one grand vacation in the years to come when we can really afford one, but not now specially when financial stability is not yet visible. Although we can afford those overnight stays that is not that expensive and a little of that family day out in one resort or hotels that are not so far away. Hopefully someday we'll be able to afford those luxurious vacation too!

flower fest

i was browsing some of my friends site this morning when i saw their photos taken at this year's Panagbenga in the country's summer capital Baguio City! thus making me reminisce our yearly vacation at my in-laws rest house, last year was impossible for us because i just gave birth and this year was my father's vacation. hopefully next year!
anyways, what i love the city are the beautiful flowers that blossom throughout the year, because of the cold climate of the place. thus making them one of the most source for flowers and other plants being brought to different place all over the country. because of the favored weather they has and the beautiful flowers that blooms in their place, they created a yearly fest about flowers, they also have the ala-rose parade that is being held at the festival date, where hundreds of locals and tourists gathered around the main street to see beautiful and grand floats parading.
i really love that place, the husband and i even had our honeymoon there early 2006. below are some of the memories of our first vacation as husband and wife.

now here are the proofs on how and why my little brat got her cough and colds...
i let her play and enjoy na waters of Caylabne when it was almost 6pm already, i couldn't stop myself from letting her feet in the waters since she was so happy seeing the small waves and all, and she loves the sand so much! i was not worried because it was not windy that time so i let her stay beside the shoreline for sometime. look, she's wearing a swimsuit pa!

just look at Olin here... she so loves the sand! maybe she'll be a total opposite of me... i'm not a beach person ever since, i dunno really, but i'm not into going to beaches and playing in the sand while getting wet in the waters. i'd rather choose to have a rainy season than summer. .. maybe Olin is an outdoor person when she grows up... in other words... LAYAS! hehehe.

back

We are back! :) after two days of short stay at the resort... we forgot about a commitment with the car, my aunt is coming home and the car was borrowed by my cousin. so we left my MIL and FIL who'll have a 3 more days stay. anyways, this lappy is still missing some components and i cannot upload pics and videos. demet. i need to bring this to the repair shop and have the OS properly installed. goodness! my head is really aching now, i need to take meds or else everything else will be black in a moment. MIGRAINE!!!! i hate this.
anyways, my little brat has a cough. poor little baby... after 8 plus months, this is her first time to have one. and she keeps on coughing. maybe the cold temp of the mountains caused it. we need to bring her to her pedia pala later. be back with more stories and yes, i'll post my first ever fishing experience! :)

when i thought i'm going to blog like hell for the rest of the day, guess what?! my MIL and FIL invited us for a Caylabne short vacay!!! wooohhhoooo!!! it has been months since we last went to the resort, and my husband's extension card has to be renewed too. yaya is taking care of Olin's things now, checking everything is well packed, distilled water? check. milk? check. nappies? check. swimsuit? check. overall onesies? check. walker? check. oops! mine is not packed... gotta go now! :) i'm really excited about this...
