binged.

Guess what!? after promising myself to diet and eat less on dinner... I just failed it again. Finished a whole can of San Marino corned tuna in less than 10 minutes! after I have eaten a bowl of oatmeal and 2 small size of fried hotdogs. Now that's what you call binging! Crap, how will I be able to lose my huge belly fat if I don't follow my own rules when it comes to eating too much. Oh well. There's always tomorrow. Will and definitely start again.

keeping it low

The husband and I loves eating out, we usually make it a point to go out at least once a week to try out new dishes in nearby or far out restaurants. But that was before we all felt the knock down on our economy, now we finally decided to keep our pockets closed from spending too much on expensive stuffs. Yes, we still love eating, but we make sure to dine in restaurants that is known for serving really delicious meals and as much as possible budget friendly. That is why, I try searching for online reviews of different food shops first before actually going there. That is what I love about VillageVoice.com a website that features a lot of stuff without barred of whatsoever, they even have this New York Restaurants review which is really popular among the New Yorkers.

Happy Birthday!

To my ever loving Dad and to my ever supportive sister! I love you both! :D
Yes, it was their birthday last December 1o and we had an intimate family dinner celebration, dad opt not to have a birthday bash, since we all know how the economy has been affecting money and finances of every household. So he chose to celebrate the occasion with a simple but sumptuous dinner at our favorite restaurant. Actually, my initial plan was to give them a surprise party that will come from my online income, but my mom spilled the beans a few weeks before their big day, and he said no. Alright then, a family dinner will do, as to what the celebrant requested. Anyways, we had a great time and the kids made the event a lot more giddier, great food thus making me binge to the next level! (now I'm needing the best diet pill to fight the carbs and fats!). We went home tummy satisfied and happy and with a lot of left overs too :D

third

The husband and I are already thinking of how we will celebrate our third year wedding anniversary this coming December, if only we are in Colorado where vasts Denver Restaurants can be found, I'm sure we wouldn't have to worry on where to spend that special day. You see, both of us are food lover, meaning every thing goes around food tripping, we always make sure to experience new dining experience as much as possible specially if there are new restaurant in town. So I guess this coming anniversary, we will have one of those special and mushy dining moments while enjoying our favorite dishes. Although as early as now, we are already debating on whether we will have French or Mexican this year but he is also thinking of seafood fest, which I whole heartedly reject! Last year we had an American dinner, steak, wine and the works! It was really romantic :D I love it!

Go French

Do you like to eat out? Then for sure you will love strolling down the Colorado State and trying out the array of Denver Restaurants! With so many food genres to choose from, you'll surely enjoy every single moment of restaurant hopping and food tasting!

rst_bistroVendome.jpg

One good example is this French restaurant that has been tagged as the "French Soul Food" because they serve authentic French cuisines made more special by the ambiance they create for their customers. Of course, everyone loves the classy French type of dining, so formal and romantic, lovers would definitely want to experience this kind of dining out.
And speaking of French dining, it wouldn't be complete without a glass or a bottle of chilled champagne to match one's order, basically to create a more distinctive taste in the palate and by making the food more delicious because right kind of wine paired with your food can really make your dining experience more enjoyable.
So there, if you are in the State of Colorado, don't forget to try their restaurants and I would love to hear from you, your experience with the food and all :D

padala

One of the many perks of having relatives in abroad :) Padala and stuff loading! The above yummo's were sent to us by my SIL, posted the entire story here.
Anyways, speaking of work abroad, I heard about this futures trading that you can get from here or from another country. So meaning, even if you decide not to stay here, you can still run a business of your own! now that's dual working prowess! it's really neat.

yummo snack

Another weekend once again for all of us! So tell me, do you have any plans as of the moment? Well, for us, everything is in vague as of this writing, you see the husband is not so feeling well, he's been down with colds and slight fever while the little princess has been sneezing since this morning, so I gave her 1ml of disudrin already, hoping the colds won't push through. Whats clear now is that we'll be attending anticipated mass this evening, it has been our weekly schedule, so we wouldn't have to wake up so early on Sundays. Anyways, we might do some grocery shopping tomorrow afternoon, if the sickies in the house will get better by then. I'ved been planning to hit the healthy snack bars aisles at the supermarket and stock on some of those high protein bars and all natural energy bar that has been bagging a lot of compliments from famous endorsers. It wouldn't hurt to try those healthy snacks anyways, plus the fact that it is indeed healthy. No more junk foods for us, as my husband says. Well, I just hope we can stick to that for so long. Because, you see, at times, we are not a healthy eater family. And since sickness in every form has been causing a lot of individuals now, it is better to switch on the really healthy and benefit packed foods now.

On her own

My little princess eating french fries on her own one fine morning at Mc Donalds. I know, its carbo loading for the mommy, that is why I'm in the process of hunting effective diet pill that might just work for me. Well anyways, back to the little brat who so much loves eating french fries with kechup, can you see she's actually dipping the sticks on her own! Actually she didn't even bother to take a bite at her Tatay's burger and my pancakes because she only want fre-fries! I know, its bad to let her eat so much of oily foods, but what can I do? she really does want it! I guess I'll just have to lessen her intakes of such.

Really good specially if you can't finish the whole pack, you can just close it again and never worry to have it aired or something. And best paired with a hot choco drink too. Now that rainy days is here, this is good for snack time and even midnight munch :) And how about my weight loss plan, you ask? I guess I'll pass on that this week, again! @ Sonya's Garden

we arrived at Sonya's around 6pm already, rain is making its way already hence, we weren't able to tour around the place, we hit directly to the reception area. bummer! i was totally dead set on strolling around the place for my mom,sis and aunt to see the beautiful garden. howell, there's always a next time... so i just feast my eyes with the subjects around the area...
the food was great, they served us Filipino foods that matches the theme of the banquet... and Sonya's Garden wouldn't be Sonya's without the fresh garden salad and the dalandan juice we sip throughout the program. heart the cupcakes and mini cake slice for dessert! now i'm craving one... the moistest choco cake i ever tasted. yummy! and yeah, the thank you cards were so cool too, those little tags attached to the souvenir cupcake stands, they get it from imprinted promotional products kinda thing, an add on from their photo coverage package.
