What, if any, memorable or special book have you ever gotten as a present? Birthday or otherwise. What made it so notable? The person who gave it? The book itself? The “gift aura?”
This is my first given book. A very close family friend of ours were the one who gave me this. It was after graduation I think. I was clueless at first for I thought that it was a cook book or something, it even took me a while to start flipping its pages. But when I did, I cannot stop. I cried, I laugh, I felt sad amongst all the other emotions that I felt. It was really heart warming and sould touching. It actually serves as my pandora of reading! From then on, I started borrowing the other series of Chicken soup, and when I have nothing to read, I flip my dad's books, even the security systems manual and all.
