Medical Software

We were at San Juan De Dios Hospital yesterday for my little girl's check up. Anyways, while we are waiting for our turn with her Pedia doctor, I can't help but notice those Medical Representatives in the lobby of the hospital also waiting for their turn to see the doctors inside, I can't help but think on how their job really works, I mean, most of them are well dressed and some are using prominent signature bags, but wait, I can't seem to identify the fake from the original, let's just keep that questionable, anyways, where am I? so there, they also have their own PDA's that everyone seems to fiddle with. As in everyone uses their stylus to click and click, I wonder if those gadgets are internet ready or something, thus making them so indulge with it. I also overhear one of them talking about drug reference guide that their own phone has, he also explains to the younger medical representative about Epocrates, the one in charge with this drug information available on phones and even ipods that are being introduced to doctors in other countries. Well for me, having that kind of software for doctors are very informative and very useful, imagine for further drug and medicine info they only have to click and voila, everything would be presented to them that fast!
by the way,
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.
