my cousin Paul and i were at the Philippine Navy Hospital while waiting for my lola's discharge papers when we saw this improvise orocan wheelchair! with two mountain bike and two stroller wheels! i guess the government cannot fully support the needs of the hospital that is why they just made one for their use... tsk, tsk, tsk... it's just so unfair seeing all those corrupt government official having all the luxuries you can think of while the government hospitals doesn't even have one descent wheelchair for the patients. good thing Pinoy ingenuity is still at its finest.

you think that's the hospital's official wheelchair? Baka naman pasyente ang may ari & walang pambili? Very entreprising.
that's interesting. clever idea, if owned by a patient. if owned by the hospital, they should provide better service =D
buti ni lang sa amin kahit gov't hospital ang ganda ng mga wheelchairs... mukhang maayos pa naman ang hospital ha... oh well, only in the Philippines!
i agree with litzie, only in the philippines! :)
but despite havin a very hard life in philippines, its still shows how creative and resourceful Filipinos are... will still make you say "Proud to be Pinoy!"di ba!!!
hi ladies...
yes, hospital owned talaga yan. my lola rode it pa nga when she was discharged eh.
litzie, Philippine Naval Hospital yan dito sa Cavite... military run hospital, pero nevertheless, ung system naman nila is still ok.. :)
only in Pinas!
am torn between being impressed and sad... kasi it does speak of ingenuity, but it also suggests inability to get the real thing...
